Spring Break

Over Spring Break we had the opportunity to do some traveling. Our first stop was in Visalia to visit the Hayashi's. The kids did great on the 3 1/2 hour drive, Ryan watched a movie and Paige slept most of the drive. We had a great visit with the Hayashi's and the Nava's and wish that our visits weren't so short and far between but we will take what we can get.

The next morning we were off to Jalama beach (just above Santa Barbara). This was another 4 hour drive and the kids did great. We had just planned to spend one night camping but we were enjoying ourselves so much we extended our stay another night (Mario had to cancel a training he was supposed to go to on Friday but it was worth it to have the extra family time!) We camped with the Fosters who took good care of us and helped out a lot with the kids. We were greatful to the Fosters for sharing their trailer during the day also, thanks guys!

Here is a quick slideshow of some pictures of our family from the last few weeks. Life has been crazy and needless to say blogging has not been at the top of our list. Mario is usually our "blogger" but he is just trying to keep his head above water right now. Someday I'm sure we will be able to look back and say those were the good ol' stressful days. Hope you all enjoy the pics.

I don't have much time because it is late but I wanted to post this before I forgot and it was lost forever. Kate's mom was over and talking to Ryan. He said something and De Nees said " Ryan you are so smart." and Ryan replied " and handsome" I don't know where this boys gets this stuff. It is like the time my dad asked him if he liked chocolate and Ryan told him " No grandpa... I LOVE chocolate.
Ryan love HIS Paige so much. He wants to hold her but only for a second then he is off running around. Katie has complained that Ryan is watching too many movies. I loved TV and if let would watch it all day! Well Ryan takes after me and can watch movies all day long. over and over and over. I was telling one of my coworkers about this and how I kind of felt like he was watching too many movies and she gave me a great suggestion... Watch them in Spanish. that way he might learn some Spanish and it would not rot his brain as much. So we will see how that goes.

Ill Be Careful.

Ryan loves his little sis. He wants to be with her all the time. We have to keep a close eye on him to be sure that he is not on top of her or throwing toys in her bassinet. Katie put Paige on our room with the door closed so Ryan would leave her alone to sleep. Katie walked into the hallway and found him laying at our door saying " I'll be careful Paige ... I'll be careful." he just wanted to be with his little sister.
