More about SDSU masters program

So Mario has gotten lots of questions about the masters program he is starting in the fall. So here are some more details about the program
The program is called COMET Cohort Online Masters in Educational Technology. Basically it is a 2 year 6 semester program that is all internet and project based. No driving required at all. There will be video conferencing and podcasts.Classes meet in online forums and interact through email, blogs and video conferencing. It is a relatively new program open only to students in California. It is kind of funny how Mario found the program ... He was looking something up at work for another teacher and he stumbled over a flyer for the program he saved it and came back to it later only to realize that all of the deadlines were less than a month away. Which meant taking the GRE with only 3 weeks to study, filling out applications, filing for finical aid, writing personal statements and still working and dealing with all of the craziness of life. Katie did alot of the work and really helped keep everything moving. We had been thinking about masters programs and looking at the online options but they were all expensive and more than we were willing to pay at this point in our lives. Cal State San Bernardino had a program and Mario never made it to the office to get more info. The program seemed like something he wanted but for some reason was not motivated enough to make it happen yet and life seemed a little too crazy to think about a masters right now. This program kind of jumped in front of us and screamed "I am what you have been waiting for!! Apply now !" then the spirit told us yes this is the right thing to do... go for it.
